VASCO: Vasco Police on Saturday night busted a sex racket operating from a spa in Dabolim and rescued six women who were allegedly forced into prostitution.
According to police, the raid was conducted between 7:57 pm on November 8 and 12:40 am on November 9, 2025, at Lotus Spa, Dabolim.
The accused, identified as Nagesh Kumar, a resident of Dabolim and native of Chhattisgarh, along with another accused Bhimsing Kabeer Naik of Dabolim, had allegedly procured and hired six women for commercial sexual activities for monetary gain.
The victims were induced into the trade and provided to customers within the premises. All six women have been rescued and placed in the Protective Home at Merces.
Accused Nagesh Kumar has been arrested, while further investigation is being conducted by PI Vaibhav Naik of Vasco Police Station.
