A day after disclosing the name to Goa Governor, Congress President Girish Chodankar on Wednesday went public to name Minister Milind Naik in the alleged sex scandal.
Addressing a press conference today, Chodankar said that Mormugao BJP MLA Milind Naik is the Minister involved in the alleged sex scandal. The party has filed an official complaint against Naik before the women’s police station.
Chodankar also urged Bihar CM Nitish Kumar to give the victim the required confidence and support to stand up and seek justice in the case, as the victim claims to be from Bihar.
The victim apparently has filed a complaint at Muffasil police station at Bihar against Congress leader Sankalp Amonkar and four others alleging threatening, extortion, sexual harassment and criminal conspiracy.
Hours after disclosing the name of Minister Milind Naik in the alleged sex scandal, the Congress party has made public the chats and audio clips between the Minister and the victim.
During the press conference, Sankalp, in possession of the evidence, released WhatsApp and audio clips between the victim and Minister Milind Naik to the press and media.
“I am ready to get arrested, and I will also be happy to sit in the jail. I am speaking the truth. Why should I suffer, and the Minister enjoy. I will not go for anticipatory bail,” said Amonkar.
He further said that he has only shown some chats and audio clips to the media as the rest, and pictures are not good for being in the public domain.
“All chats related to abortion are submitted; there are 35 audio clips which are not to be shown in public,” he added.
