PANAJI: Goa BJP Chief Sadanand Tanavade announced that Amit Shah, the Union Home Minister, will speak at a public gathering in the coastal state on April 24.
According to Tanavade, the BJP’s election campaign is proceeding smoothly in the state, and the party’s top brass is scheduled to visit Goa in the near future.
“Home Minister Amit Shah will visit Goa on April 24 and other leaders will also follow,” he stated.
On Tuesday, industrialist Pallavi Dempo, the BJP’s nominee for South Goa and Union Minister of State for Tourism Shripad Naik filed their nominations for the Lok Sabha seats.
It is anticipated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will speak at a public gathering in South Goa, where the BJP has put up a female candidate.
