PANAJI: The condition of the individuals injured in the tragic stampede at Shirgao is gradually improving, according to hospital officials at Goa Medical College (GMC).
A total of 21 people were admitted to the hospital following the incident, and six of them have since been discharged after receiving necessary medical treatment.
Currently, 15 injured individuals remain under care and are being closely monitored for further recovery.
However, one patient who was critically injured in the stampede continues to be in a stable yet critical condition, with doctors working diligently to provide intensive care.
Medical authorities have assured the public that all available resources are being utilized to ensure the best possible treatment for the victims, and they are hopeful that the condition of the remaining patients will continue to improve.
The incident has drawn attention from local authorities, who are closely investigating the circumstances that led to the tragic event.
Meanwhile, the community has expressed support for the affected families and the victims still in treatment.
