Caranzalem: In a recurring incident, authorities have discovered yet another cannabis plant growing near the premises of Tonca Green Acres Hall in Caranzalem, raising concerns about potential illegal cultivation in the area.
Local police were alerted after the suspicious plant was noticed by residents. A preliminary inspection confirmed it to be a cannabis plant, which has since been seized for further investigation.
This marks the latest in a string of similar discoveries across Panaji. Residents have now urged law enforcement to increase surveillance and ensure routine inspections of public spaces.
