RAMANAGAR: Late last night, Ross and Darryl Vaze, two brothers from Alto Porvorim, died in a horrific collision on the Mangalore-Bangalore highway.
Two more people were hurt in the collision between the Fortuner SUV and a truck.
When the crash happened, the four men were in the Fortuner on their way from Goa to Coimbatore. Ross and Darryl were reportedly fatally injured when the truck slammed the car on the left side where they were sitting.
Co-passenger Neil Faria, an entrepreneur from Mapusa, and driver Nathan Vaze, son of Darryl Vaze, both escaped with minor injuries. Ross and Darryl were pronounced dead at the hospital after emergency personnel hurried the victims there.
The precise cause of the crash is being looked into by the authorities.
