PANAJI: Books and Beyond Literary Club in association with the Library Department of Don Bosco College, Panjim organised their first club meeting for the academic year 2024-25.
The event commenced with an animated discussion on the books that students enjoyed as well as hated reading. Participants were encouraged to share their literary preferences, experiences and recommendations. This was followed by a workshop on writing impactful short stories. Assistant Professors Marina Martins and Jude Fernandes were the resource persons for the same. They explained various elements like plot, setting and narrative style, along with tips for developing characters and refining a draft. The participants conveyed their gratitude whilst expressing eagerness for the next initiative of the club.
