CANACONA: Shri Mallikarjun Higher Secondary School, Char-Rasta–Canacona, has achieved a remarkable 100% pass rate in the Class 12 examinations conducted by the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, bringing pride to the entire Canacona taluka.
In the Science stream, Aayushka Malesh Komarpant secured first rank with 88.5%. Amardeep Singh Gurjar stood second with 87.33%, while Shanaya Roy D’Silva secured third place with 83.5%. Shanaya also demonstrated exceptional performance by scoring a perfect 100 out of 100 in Biology. In this stream, 11 students passed with Distinction, 27 secured First Class, and 10 students passed in Second Class.
In the Arts stream, Madjara Ramesh Komarpant topped with 90.33%. Khajshi Manjpagi secured second place with 87%, while Masadheera Nagesh Desai stood third with 86.66%. A total of 9 students passed with Distinction, 19 secured First Class, 22 passed in Second Class, and 5 students were in the Pass Class.
In the Commerce stream, Aniket Arjun Velip secured first position with 86.5%. Vaishnavi Gopinath Sawant ranked second with 85.66%, while Ansh Khajashahi Velip stood third with 84%. In this stream, 6 students passed with Distinction, 14 secured First Class, 10 passed in Second Class, and 5 students were in the Pass Class.
The school achieved this success under the chairmanship and guidance of Shambha Naik Desai, Chairman of the Management Committee of Centro Promoter de Instrucao. The Management Committee congratulated the teachers and students on their excellent performance.
Principal Vihar Desai said the achievement reflects the collective efforts of the entire institution, adding that the success is the result of teamwork between students, teachers, and management.
