TALEIGAO: BJPs North Goa Lok Sabha candidate Shripad Naik on Thursday expressed confidence that the BJP will win this Lok Sabha election with a record margin. Shripad Naik met vendors at the Taleigao market and urged them to vote for the BJP.
“We have received tremendous response from traders, vendors and the general public,” Naik said. Taliegao MLA Jennifer Monserratte and BJP workers from Taliegao were present during the campaign.
“We are trying to ensure that a leader like Shripad Bhau is elected from North Goa again. We will give a huge lead to Shripad Naik from Taliegao constituency for the upcoming Loksabha elections,” she said.
Shripad Naik interacted with the priests and parishioners at St. Michael’s Church in the morning. He met Taliegao panchayat members, traders and vendors of Taliegao market. He held discussions with members of Shree Lakshmi Devasthan Samiti at Odxel. He also appealed to the people and beneficiaries of Dona Paula, Aivao to vote for the BJP. He addressed women after offering prayers at Tulsimata Temple at Vodlem Bhat. After seeking blessings at Sati Bhavani Devasthan in Bhatlem, he met some of the beneficiaries there. Naik visited Jamaat-e-Mohammedia Masjid in Vodlem Bhat and prayed at Shiva Mandir at Camrabhat and interacted with the people. In the evening, he concluded the day’s campaign by understanding the problems faced by the senior citizens of Numoxim.
