PANAJI: Union Minister of State of Tourism Shripad Naik has expressed displeasure over not inviting him to inaugurate Central projects in Goa.
“I don’t know if it was done by mistake or purposely. But time and again, I am not being invited to the inauguration of several Central govt projects,” said Naik.
He further said that he has asked Chief Minister Pramod Sawant and Tourism Minister to take note of this.
He added that he should have been invited for these functions since he was instrumental in getting these Central projects and also as a local MP.
MP Shripad Naik was absent for inauguration of Dona Paula Jetty project yesterday.
Naik stated that such incidents create a negative image of y: Goa the government and send the wrong message.
“Hence, it is Ent login important that the CM intervenes and does course correction,” he added.
