Margao: Sinq Rangers recorded a convincing 23-run victory over Desserts N More Avengers in the GSB Unity Cup 3.0 cricket tournament organised by the Goa GSB Sports and Charitable Trust. The floodlit match was played on Thursday at the MCC Ground in Margao.
After winning the toss and electing to bat, Sinq Rangers posted a competitive total of 162 for 6 in their allotted 20 overs. The innings was anchored by a brisk knock from Sairaj Dhond, who scored 50 off 25 balls, hitting four boundaries and three sixes. He was well supported by Mehank Dharwadkar, who remained unbeaten on 40 off 24 deliveries, including one four and three sixes, to provide a strong finish to the innings. Sudhir Kenkre contributed 23, while Vismay Falgavkar added 18. For the Avengers, Siddhesh Prabhu Alvencar was the most successful bowler with two wickets.

However, the rising required run rate kept the pressure on, and the Avengers eventually finished on 139 for 7 in their 20 overs.

With this win, Sinq Rangers strengthened their position in the tournament and reinforced their credentials as strong title contenders.
Sairaj Dhond was named Player of the Match, while Arin Angle received the Hero of the Match award. The prizes were presented by Anup Kudchadkar and Pranav Biche.
