Five more persons succumbed to COVID19 in the State taking the toll to 98 cases on Saturday.
The State reported 369 new cases and 331 recoveries.
The health bulletin says, 65 years female from Moti Dongor Margao, admitted at Goa Medical College Bambolim, with co-morbid conditions expired on 13th August. 53 year female from Moti Dongor Margao, admitted at Goa Medical College Bambolim, expired yesterday. 83 years Female from Fatorda, admitted at Goa Medical College Bambolim, with co-morbid conditions expired today. 79 years Female from Agassaim, with co-morbid conditions expired today and 71 years Female from Baina, admitted at ESI COVID Hospital Margao, with co-morbid conditions expired today.
The Bulletin also says that 2528 samples were tested on Saturday out of which 1662 are negative, 369 are positive and 497 reports awaited.
Cases continued to rise in Panjim, Chimbel and Porvorim as the three together has 555 active cases.
The confirmed cases are 11339 and active cases are 3753 while recoveries are 7488.
Margao has the highest number of active cases with 413 followed by Vasco at 392.
