BICHOLIM: In a bid to help the unemployed from the Sanquelim constituency the Sanquelim Municipal council former chairman, Dharmesh Saglani has come up with an innovative idea of creating a database of such youths.
There are many youths in the constituency who are unemployed and Saglani says that as per the measurements they can be absorbed in private sector.
“We have sent a link through various social media networks and youths can register giving full details of their qualification and experience. If there are any vacancy in some private firm we can contact them and they would get the job” Saglani said.
Besides this Saglani said that there are many skilled workforce in Sanquelim who could get work if they register themselves on the portal.
“People always need electricians, plumbers and other such people and when we come across such work these youths can be contacted” Saglani said.
Till date there are more than 500 youths who have registered on the database.
Saglani told that he is having talks with private firms for absorbing youths from Sanquelim.
