CHICALIM: In a noble initiative to support those in need, SMRC’s V. M. Salgaocar Hospital, in association with Caring Souls Goa, Jain Engineer’s Society Goa Chapter, and GMC Blood Bank, is set to host a Blood Donation Camp on Sunday, 9th March 2025. The event will take place at SMRC’s V. M. Salgaocar Hospital, Off Airport Road, Chicalim, Goa, from 10:00 AM to 01:00 PM.
This initiative aims to encourage community participation in saving lives through blood donation. Blood is an essential resource for surgeries, cancer treatment, chronic illnesses, and trauma care. Every donation has the potential to make a life-saving impact.
Speaking about the upcoming event, the organizers emphasized the critical importance of maintaining an adequate blood supply in hospitals and blood banks. They also highlighted the ease and safety of the donation process, urging individuals from all walks of life to step forward and contribute to this noble cause.
