CANACONA: Hotel team serves nutritious meal to 60 students at Shri Mataji Mandir Vidhyarthi Vasatigruh, Tembewada
CANACONA: In a heartwarming gesture of compassion, Sobit Sarovar Portico, Palolem, organized a food donation drive for 60 underprivileged hostel students of Shri Mataji Mandir Vidhyarthi Vasatigruh, an institution run by Keshav Seva Sadhana at Tembewada, Canacona.
The initiative, held as part of the hotel’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme, saw the hotel team serve freshly prepared, nutritious, and delicious food to the students — filling not only plates but also young hearts with joy, gratitude, and a sense of belonging.
Welcoming the hotel team, Damodar Vasant Chari, Secretary of Keshav Seva Sadhana, spoke about the mission and vision of the hostel and its efforts to uplift and educate underprivileged students.
The visiting team from Sobit Sarovar Portico included HR Manager Mrs. Chetana Raiker, F&B Manager Kamlesh Bhol, Housekeeping Manager Newton Roy, KST Executive Chandraraj Komarpant, HR Assistant Arnold Fernandes, Accounts Assistants Sanjoth Bhandari and Ms. Smisha Komarpant.
They interacted with the students, learned about their dreams and aspirations, and expressed admiration for the institution’s dedicated work. The team also conveyed their commitment to continue supporting such meaningful community initiatives in the future.
