Former panch and social activist Roquezinho Dsouza on Sunday hit out at various groups and NGOs fighting the double tracking in Velsao and said that these groups did not have love for the people or the land but only political agenda and wanted to contest the assembly elections
Dsouza said that many a times the groups would arrive on the tracks and question why people are not coming out but In reality they had never ever approached the panchayat for support on activities against the double tracking. Dsouza said that the activists had kept the panchayat in dark when Minister Nilesh Cabral and CM Dr Pramod Sawant had arrived to velaso. Dsouza said that all the activists who had arrived to fight done tracking have now turned in a political party to become candidates for assembly elections. Dsouza said that it was wrong to ask for resignation of CM who was doing a good job despite the pandemic
