SOCORRO: Socorro Village Panchayat has issued a 7-day eviction notice to Allabhaksh Saiyydabade and his family, residents of the 20 Point Programme area, following a serious child molestation complaint lodged by a mother from Mapusa, Bardez. The complaint alleges that Saiyydabade, hired as a school transport driver for the complainant’s 6-year-old daughter, sexually assaulted and abused the child multiple times at various locations in Porvorim prior to November 2025. He also allegedly assaulted and threatened the minor victim.
The minor victim was medically examined at GMC Bambolim, where the medical officer confirmed evidence of sexual assault. Acting on the complaint, Porvorim Police registered an FIR on 21 December 2025, immediately traced the accused, and arrested him the same day. Saiyydabade has been remanded to four days of police custody, with further investigation ongoing under LPSI Prajyoti Dessai and PI Rahul Parab of Porvorim Police Station.
Citing public safety, peace, and law and order, the Panchayat notice directs the accused family to vacate their residence in 20 Point Programme within seven days, warning of strict action in case of non-compliance.
The matter came to light when the victim’s mother, a resident of Mapusa, lodged a formal complaint at the Porvorim Police Station. According to the report, the accused was hired by the family for the specific purpose of picking up and dropping off the minor child between her home and school.
The complaint alleges that prior to November 2025, the accused took advantage of his position of trust. On multiple occasions at various locations in Porvorim, he allegedly:Inappropriately touched the child’s private parts. Sexually abused, assaulted, and raped the six-year-old. Physically assaulted and threatened the victim to ensure her silence.
Following the registration of the FIR on December 21, the Porvorim Police acted swiftly to trace the accused to his residence at Halmen Colony, Anganwadi Nagar.
The victim underwent a medical examination at the Goa Medical College (GMC), Bambolim. Reports from the medical officer have confirmed physical evidence consistent with sexual assault, corroborating the allegations made in the complaint.
