PANAJI: The District Mock Exercise on Cyclone Disaster will be conducted by the Office of the South District and South Goa District Disaster Management Authority, Margao, at Colva Beach, Colva, Salcete Goa on March 3, 2023, from 9.00 a.m. onwards.
The camp would require setting up triage camps, mobilising ambulances and medical staff, shifting rescued personnel to trauma centres/hospitals and other supporting activities. There will be police security at the venue. All concerned stakeholders will participate in the said mock drill exercise.
The public is requested not to panic as it is only a mock drill and urged to co-operate with the agencies apart from providing access on public roads during the mock drill exercise.
