MARGAO: The South Goa District Police have intensified their anti-narcotics operations, resulting in the registration of 13 cases under the NDPS Act between September 9 and October 15, 2025.
During the operations conducted by various police stations across the district, a total of Rs 15.01 lakh worth of narcotic substances were seized, including 8.914 kg of ganja, 47.78 grams of hydroponic weed, and 28.9 grams of MDMA.
Police arrested 20 accused persons for possession and trafficking of drugs.
The Goa Police reiterated their commitment to a sustained drive against drug trafficking and appealed to citizens to report any drug-related activities to the nearest police station or via the Goa Police helpline.
