Panaji: Superintendent of Police (North) Harish Madkaikar has assured the South Goa Advocates Association that the police will conduct a proper investigation into the alleged attack on Advocate Sadanand Vaigankar.
The assurance was given after a delegation of the association, led by its President Adv Prasad Naik along with Adv Prasad Shahpurkar, met the SP North and discussed the matter.
During the meeting, Madkaikar informed the advocates that he has already directed the concerned Police Inspector and the Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) to take necessary action against the accused persons in the case.
He further stated that the police will conduct an in-depth investigation and file a chargesheet in the matter.
Madkaikar also told the advocates that they may approach him directly if they have any grievances regarding the investigation being carried out by the concerned police station.
