District Superintendent of Police, North Goa has promulgated the order to be in force in the jurisdiction of Police Station, Porvorim and Panaji from July 27, 2020 till 12th Session of the Seventh Legislative Assembly of the State of Goa gets over.
As per the order no person or class of person shall convene or collect as an assembly, take out any procession or stage any demonstration on the road, street or thorough fare shall hold public meetings except under and in accordance with the terms and conditions of license issued in this behalf by the District Superintendent of Police, North and requires that every such person or class of persons intending to convene or collect such assembly and take out processions/demonstrations individually, collectively or otherwise shall apply DSP, North for a license well in advance.
However, in no case, procession, morcha, rally, dharna etc. will be allowed within the radius of 500 meters around the Assembly Complex of Porvorim and area under Panaji Police Station as promulgated U/s 144 Cr.P.C. by the District Magistrate, North Goa.
