VASCO: As part of the ongoing Seva Pakhwada campaign, the office of the Dy Collector and Mamlatdar of Mormugao, in collaboration with various line departments, organised a special service camp on Saturday, September 27, 2025. The initiative brought multiple public services under one roof, enabling residents to access facilities such as mutations, caste, residence and domicile certificates, conversion sanads, ration cards and more.
Dy Collector Bhagwant Karmali said the camp was designed to make citizen-centric services easily accessible to the people of Mormugao. “We wanted to simplify the process for the public by bringing different departments together at one location. This not only saves time for citizens but also ensures greater transparency and efficiency in service delivery,” he stated.
Karmali further highlighted the enthusiastic participation of local residents, noting that the initiative had received an encouraging response. “People availed a variety of services today, and many expressed their satisfaction with the ease of getting their work done without having to run from office to office. We will continue to hold such drives to strengthen citizen-government connect,” he added.
The camp witnessed active cooperation from revenue, civil supplies, and other line departments, which jointly worked to provide on-the-spot redressal and issuance of documents.
