Special four days Chaturthi Bazaar at Wadi-Talavalim Panchayat from Sept 5

PONDA: Mahalaxmi Yuvak Sang at Talavalim Ponda has organised 4 days Special Matoli Bazaar at Wadi Talavalim Panchayat starting from 5, 6, 7 and 8 September to prevent a rush of the crowd at Ponda primary Market as preventive measures against Covid 19.
Speaking on occasion, Sudesh Bhingi said our member Rohan Naik proposed arranging Matoli Bazaar in Panchayat.
“Past three Sundas we held unique Bazaar, and with the kind of response from vendors and local self-help, group, we are organising four days Matoli Bazaar wherein all the goods, sweets, vegetables, fruits, Matoli items as well as goods produced by local self-help groups will be given place for selling them at premises located near Mahalaxmi Yuvak Sang Building,” he said.
Sudesh said Wadi Talavalim is the centre for at least three panchayats, namely Borim, Durbhat Agapur, Kavlem etc.
The aim is to reduce the crowd in Ponda Market and provide support to vendors whose business is hit by the Covid pandemic.
