MARGAO: Sporting Club Virabhat outplayed St.Anthony Boys 4-1 to enter into the quarterfinals of the 9-a-side football tournament Organised by Sporting Club Virabhat and played at St.Alex Church ground curtain on Sunday.
St.Anthony Curtorim opens the scoreline through Selvino Vaz with neat placement and till halftime St Anthony leading 1-0.
In the second half host, Sporting Club Virabhat regrouped quickly took control of the game and fired four goals. A hat-trick by Ryce Fernandes and Lourdes Fernandes scored the other goal.
Ryce Fernandes was awarded man of the match for his Hatric by Criso Castanha.
