MARGAO: Sporting Club Davorlim scored a comfortable win over Sao Jose de Areal 4-0 to move into the semifinals of the 7th Martin’s Cup football tournament organised by Betalbatim Sporting Club and played at Panchayat ground Betalbatim on Friday.
The match started on a promising note and both teams showed urgency to score goals but couldn’t break the deadlock and remained 0-0 till halftime.
In the second session of play Sporting Club Davorlim were a changed game and took control of the game and fired four goals.
The goal scorer for Sporting Club Davorlim is Delton Colaco in the 35th minute of play while Milton Colaco doubled the lead in the 37th minutes of play.
Sporting club Davorlim were hungry for goals and outplayed Sao Jose De Areal and in the last quarter of the match Sporting club Davorlim scored two goals through Velroy Colaco in the 45th minute of play and the farewell goal of the match scored by Joe Gomes
