PANAJI: Every youth should come forward to help preserve the environment and keep public places clean. As part of its social outreach programme, on 75th Independence Day, the Sai Sahayata Association Pale members organized the “SHRAMDAAN” programme at Sateri temple Torl Tale Pale in Bicholim Taluka.
The Sai Sahayata Association team, led by its President, Shri Pranay Gawade, undertakes cutting bushes, cleaning and collecting all the garbage accumulated around the Sateri temple.
Urging the citizens to discharge their duties and responsibilities, Pranay Gawade said Sai Sahayata Association has always worked to better society. In the future, we also have plans to organize various programs like career guidance and awareness activities etc. Sai Sahayata Association was established in November 2015. For the past 5 years, this organization has been working to develop society in the area of culture, Sports, welfare and all awareness related activities among youth, children, Women and Senior Citizens.
Sai Sahayata Association has organized many programs to create awareness of various Schemes implemented through multiple Departments of the Goa government, impart training on various competitive exams, distribution of books to needy people, and felicitation meritorious std of 10th and 12th.
The Director of Goa Tourism Development Corporation, Deepraj Prabhu, was also present on occasion.
