*18,871 students to answer SSC exams across 32 centres across Goa

PANAJI: The SSC (Class X) Examination of March 2025 has commenced from today. The examination will be held till March 21.
There are 9,574 more girls than boys taking the test, compared to 9,297 total. There will be 32 locations for the exam, which starts at 9.30 am.
The SSC test will start with an English paper on March 1 and a Hindi paper on March 3, according to the Board’s final schedule. March 5 is the day for the third language, March 7 for social science I and II, March 10 for mathematics level II, and March 11 for the level I paper. On March 15, the science paper will wrap up the exam.
The students will respond to vocation subjects starting on March 17.
The examination will be conducted across 32 examination centres across the State. The examination will begin at 9.30 am.
Candidates are advised to be present at the examination centre at least 45 minutes or latest by 9 am before the commencement of the exam. Late arrival shall disqualify the candidate from appearing at the said examination.
The Board has advised that candidates who arrive more than 30 minutes after the start of the exam in any subject will be rejected. Additionally, during the first hour, no candidate would be permitted to leave the test room.
Students are instructed to bring only clear water bottles with no stickers, clear writing pads, and pouches for their own art supplies into the hallway.
During the exam, students are not permitted to wear clothing with more than one pocket.
