Margao: Under PM-Vishwakarma Scheme, MSME-Development & Facilitation Office, Ministry of MSME, Govt. of India, Margao, Goa launched State level exhibition cum trade fair at B.P.S Sports club Margao South Goa. The event was inaugurated on 27th September 2024 and will be continue till 29th September 2024.
The programme started with lighting of auspicious lamp by Chief guest Ms Swetika Sachan , IAS, Secretary (Industries), Govt. Of Goa, Mr Aswin Chandru A., IAS Collector & District Magistrate South Goa, Smt. Sandhya Kamat Director, Directorate of Handicraft, Textile & Coir (DHTC), Mr Virendra Singh, Deputy Director, KVIC, Ministry of MSME, Mr Anirudh Joshi , Associate vice president & Area Head, Federal Bank, Mr. Vimal Patel, Deputy General Manager, IDBI and Mr Mukesh Kumar Meena, Joint Director, MSME-DFO, Margao, Goa where the other dignitaries present during the occasion. Total 300 people witnessed the inaugural function.
This exhibition is an excellent platform for PM-Vishwakaramas from the State of Goa. Vishwakarmas belonging to 18 identified trades showcased their expertise with products during the exhibitions. About 65 PM-Vishwakarmas are displaying their products in this exhibition. Other stake holders like Banks, KVIC & CSC are also displaying their products/services for PM-Vishwakarmas.
Joint Director, MSME-DFO, Goa Welcome all the dignitaries and PM-Vishwakarmas artisans. The chief guest Ms Swetika Sachan, IAS motivated the artisans to come forward with their innovative products in the market And also appraised MSME-DFO, Goa for organizing such a grand event. Mr Aswin Chandru A., IAS appreciated the event & appealed more artisans to come forward to become PM-Vishwakarmas & take the benefit of the Scheme. Bankers like SBI, Federal Bank, IDBI & Canara Bank assured their support for PM-Vishwakarma.
Udyam registration camp is organized on the side lines of exhibition. The programme concluded with the vote of Thanks offered by Mr. D.R.Johari, Asstt. Director, DFO-GOA.

In View of “Special Campaign 4.0” from 17th September 2024, to 2nd October 2024, Swachhta pledge was taken by all the present in the event. The pledge was administered by Joint Director, MSME-DFO.
