The program focused on improving the quality, accessibility and design of public-facing e-services by promoting better UX and UI practices across government departments.
The workshop was organised by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology through the National E-Governance Division, in partnership with the National Informatics Centre and the Department of Information Technology, Electronics and Communications of the Government of Goa. Officials from various state departments attended the sessions, which covered both conceptual understanding and real-world application of user-centric design for government platforms.

In his welcome remarks, Shirgaonkar encouraged participants to focus on the value of strong UI and UX in government applications.
