ARPORA: Police have arrested a 22-year-old man in connection with the theft of a motorcycle from the parking area of a resort in Arpora.
According to police, the offence was registered on March 14, 2026 at 10:27 pm based on the complaint of Anas Akbar Mulla, a resident of Buranagali, Bahenchawada, Sawantwadi in Sindhudurg district of Maharashtra.
The complainant reported that on March 12, 2026 between 9:00 am and 5:30 pm, an unknown accused person stole his red Bajaj Pulsar 200 motorcycle bearing registration number MH-07-AC-5200 from the parking area of Resort Marinha Dourada at Tambudki, Arpora in Bardez.
During the course of investigation, police arrested the accused identified as Arjun Rambahadur Bishwakarma (22), a native of Nepal currently residing at Anand Restaurant, Anjuna, Bardez.
The accused was arrested on March 14 at 10:45 pm and the stolen motorcycle valued at ₹80,000 was recovered by police.
Further investigation in the case is in progress.
