Valpoi: Efforts are being made to promote development by maintaining the balance of the environment. After the project is set up in Surla through eco-tourism, many employment opportunities will be created there. However, some people are trying to oppose this project in the name of environment. However, Poriem MLA Dr. Deviya Rane has appealed to the people to be ready to break this opposition.

Toll collection center opened in the temple premises.A cashew nut sales center established by the Goa Forest Development Corporation through the Goa Forest Development Corporation was inaugurated at the back of the temple. Similarly, the toilet located here has been made available for the public. MLA Dr. Rane expressed the hope that this will definitely benefit the development of the village.
He appealed to be careful of those who oppose him. He said that he is taking responsibility for the construction of the temple in Pali.
Thane Sarpanch Nilesh Parwar thanked MLA Dr. Rane for providing opportunities for the development of the village by creating good facilities at the Shivling waterfall. Local Panch member Suresh Aayakar also expressed his views.
After the welcome ceremony, the toll collection centre, cashew nut sales centre and toilets provided by the Goa Forest Development Corporation were inaugurated. The programme was moderated by Pandurang Paryekar. He also proposed the vote of thanks.
