CURCHOREM: There will be straight fight between Vishwas Sawant Desai and ex-chairoperson Balkrishan Hodarkar for the post of Chairperson of the Curchorem-Cacora Municipal council.
The Chairperson and vice chairperson elections for CMC is scheduled on Thursday at 11.00 am in municipal hall of Curchorem Cacora municipality.
Chief officer Ajay Gawade said that two nominations fhave been received for chairpersons post while one has been received for vice-chairperson’s post.
BJP block president of Curchorem and also ex chairperson Vishwas Sawant Desai and ex chairperson Balkrishan Hodarkar filed nomination for chairperson post while Rucha Vasta filed nominatyion for vice-chairperson’s post.
There is no clear picture who will be the chairperson of Curchorem-Cacora municipality.
Chief officer Ajay Gawade told that that election will take place at municipal at 11 am.
