PORVORIM: Fatorda MLA Vijai Sardesai today pointed out that the Stray Dog policy has already been formed a year back in response to the writ petition before the High Court of Bombay at Goa.
CM Sawant on Wednesday had promised the formation of a Stray Dog policy in the next 3 months.
“Stray Dog policy has already been formed a year back in response to the writ petition before the High Court of Bombay at Goa. The policy was formed on July 6, 2023,” said Sawant
Vijai further demanded that the Animal Husbandry Director be suspended for not informing the CM.
“You cannot say ignorance is bliss,” Vijai said
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant assured that we will implement the policy.
