PANAJI: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant today said that students should be helped in innovative thinking, thus encouraging students towards Science.
CM Met and interacted with Director, ISRO H. Rayappa in the presence of officers of Education department.
“Students should be help in innovative thinking, thus encouraging students towards Science. We might see young scientists in Goa soon,” said Sawant.
He further said that discussions held on Education through Satellite (Edusat) in collaboration with ISRO on activity based learning in line with the New Education Policy 2020.
“Creation of Two Way Exchange Channel for Higher Education for empowerment and forecasting natural calamities was discussed,” he added.
Sawant said that the MoU with IISC Bangalore will provide training to all the junior and senior staff of the government and the training has already commenced.
“Will provide various skilling to students in sports that will promote fit Goa skilled Goa and inclusive Goa Concept,” he added.
Meanwhile, CM Sawant appealed them to provide training to students on banking and clearing banking exams.
