The Central Pollution Control Boars has asked fhe Goa State Pollution Control Board to submit a action taken report on the coal pollution in Mormugao.
The CPCB direction came following complaint by one Damodar Divkar Vasco.
“The Grievance was forwarded to Central Pollution Control Board by Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate change Govt. of India. It is requested that appropriate action be taken on the grievance and action taken report sent to the applicant under intimation to this office within 15 days,” the letter by M.K. Choudhury) AD & DH – PR Division, said.
Divkar had written to the Ministry of Environment and Forest, on coal pollution at MPT which was forwarded to CPCB.
