PANAJI: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant today informed that he had gone to Delhi to submit the final report on the recently concluded elections in Goa.
Sawant also said that the final date on government formation is yet to be decided.
“I had gone to Delhi to submit the final report on the recently concluded elections in Goa. We all had gone to Delhi to say thanks; as of now the final date has not been finalised. I came to meet and seek the blessings of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and others,” said CM.
He further said that they got a majority in Goa and the BJP government will be formed soon and that he also briefed the PM on BJP’s resounding success in the Goa Assembly Polls.
Sawant also said he and other BJP leaders also met Union Home Minister Amit Shah during their Delhi visit.
The BJP has already appointed Union ministers Narendra Singh Tomar and L Murugan as the observer and co-observer to select the leader of the legislature party in Goa.
Speaking on late Manohar Parrikar, said that late Manohar Parrikar will be remembered for developing the infrastructure development of the state.
