Panaji: The Goa Cricket Association (GCA) has officially named Suyash Prabhudessai as the captain of the Goa Senior Men’s cricket team for the upcoming Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy T20 tournament, set to be held in Kolkata from 26th November to 8th December 2025. The 17-member squad brings together a mix of seasoned campaigners and promising young talent, aiming to deliver a strong performance on the national stage.
The team comprises Abhinav Tejrana, Ishaan Gadekar, Deepraj Gaonkar, Darshan Misal, Mohit Redkar, Shubham Tari, Kashyap Bakhale, Rajshekhar Harikant, Snehal Kauthankar, Amulya Pandrekar, Koushik V, Arjun Tendulkar, Lalit Yadav, Felix Alemao, Vikash Singh, and Heramb Parab. With this combination, the GCA hopes to strike a balance between experience and youthful energy, enabling Goa to make a mark in one of India’s most competitive domestic T20 tournaments.
Speaking on the announcement, the GCA expressed confidence in the squad’s potential and wished the players and support staff the very best for their campaign in Kolkata, emphasizing that the team is prepared to take on strong opposition and showcase the growing stature of Goan cricket on the national stage.
