PANAJI: While urging women in the State to become self-reliant in every aspect of life, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said that the state government is implementing various welfare Schemes and Projects for the upliftment of the womenfolk in the State.
CM also said that the Swayampurna Goa initiative mainly aims to eradicate red-tapism in the bureaucracy and spread awareness about Government Schemes.
“My Government is implementing various welfare Schemes and Projects for the upliftment of the womenfolk in the State. Women need to approach the Government machinery to get optimum benefit of the Government Schemes,” said CM Sawant.
He further said that the Swayampurna Goa initiative mainly aims to eradicate red-tapism in the bureaucracy and spread awareness about Government Schemes through Swayanpoorna Mitra and facilitate the people to avail maximum benefits of the welfare schemes without any hassle.
CM Sawant also urged women in the State to become self-reliant in every aspect of life, thereby complementing the Swayampurna Goa initiative of the Government.
“Sarkar Tumchya Dari programme setup, more than 25 Departments visits every taluka to provide all services initiated by them. This programme will not give 100% results, but surely at least 50% will benefit directly, and others will get away to go forward,” he added.
CM also urged dependents and families of Covid 19 in the State to take benefits of additional Rs 50,000 which will be given with the support of the Union Government apart from Rs 2,00,000 of the State Government.
