CHODAN: The Old Goa Police have registered a case against Gaurav Bakshi, a resident of Martins Palm Fringe, Taleigao, along with an unknown woman, for allegedly trespassing into a house and threatening a family in connection with a property dispute.
As per the complaint filed by Shyam Bhomkar (53), resident of Caraim, Chodan, the incident took place on November 2, 2025, around 9:30 am at his residence located in survey nos. 8/6 and 7 of Caraim village, Chodan. The accused persons allegedly entered the complainant’s house without permission, threatened him and his family with dire consequences, and used insulting language intended to provoke a breach of peace.
The confrontation reportedly arose over a property dispute and a social media video related to the matter.
The offence was registered on November 3, 2025, at 10:23 pm, and LPSI Jasvita Naik of Old Goa Police Station is investigating the case.
