DELHI: Rajya Sabha MP from Goa, Sadanand Shet Tanavade, cast his vote in the Vice Presidential election held in New Delhi on Tuesday, joining Union Ministers and fellow parliamentarians in the polling process.
Speaking after exercising his franchise, Tanavade expressed confidence that NDA nominee C. P. Radhakrishnan would register a resounding victory. He lauded Radhakrishnan’s long years of political experience and commitment to public service, saying his leadership would further strengthen India’s democratic fabric and benefit the nation.
Tanavade also extended advance congratulations to Radhakrishnan on his likely election as the next Vice President of India.
