PANAJI: BJP Goa President Sadanand Shet Tanavade today termed the Congress as a directionless party.
“Congress as a directionless party. They don’t even have leadership be it at the Central level and Goa. Instead of commenting on us, they should be worried and concentrate on their internal matters,” said Tanavade.
He further said that for the BJP, elections are a serious matter and the party takes elections seriously.
“We at BJP have finished our 1st round of campaigning but the Congress still does not have any candidates,” he added.
Tanavade also said that BJP will cross the 324 mark this time in the Member of Parliament elections while winning both seats in Goa with a huge margin.
“As long as people are with us, surveys don’t matter. Modi Government has been most popular, loved, and respected. I can vouch that while we managed 303 seats last time, this time around BJP will cross the 324 mark surely,” he said.
He said that said North Goa Candidate Shripad Naik has finished the first round of campaigning while the South Goa candidate will finish her first round by April 5.
“BJP has surpassed any party in Goa in terms of campaigning. The Congress has no vision and with no vision, the people do not tend to go with that party,” he added
Tanavade said that with no vision, the Congress does not have a hold over announcing the candidates for North and South Goa seats.
