Canacona: Goa Legislative Assembly Speaker and Canacona MLA Ramesh Tawadkar recently attended the 8th Foundation Day celebrations of Acharya Academy Pvt. Ltd. in Baramati, Pune, Maharashtra.
Addressing a large gathering of students, educators, and parents as Chief Guest, Tawadkar lauded the academy’s efforts in promoting academic excellence and holistic student development.
Acharya Academy, known for its coaching in competitive exams such as JEE and NEET, has a strong presence across Pune and recently expanded its footprint to Goa, with classes now operating at Shree Balram Residential High School in Poinguinim, Canacona.
The event also featured Anandotsav – Student Felicitation Ceremony, where high-performing students were honoured for their achievements in national-level entrance exams.
Academy Founder and MD Prof. Gyaneshwar Mutkule and Co-Founder of 1729 Acharya Academy Prof. Sumit Singare were present alongside teachers, staff, and students.
Expressing optimism about the impact of the academy in Goa, Tawadkar said, “We are confident that students from our region will soon secure admissions into prestigious institutions like IITs, NITs, and AIIMS, and emerge as future engineers, doctors, and leaders.”
