CANACONA: Speaker of the Goa Legislative Assembly and Canacona MLA Ramesh Tawadkar on Wednesday inspected the proposed site for a new Anganwadi at Karvem in Gaondongrim village, Canacona taluka.
Officials from various departments, including Assistant Engineer of the Canacona Electricity Department Govind Bhat, local leaders, Speaker’s office staff and villagers, joined the inspection.
Tawadkar also presented the design and layout of the upcoming Anganwadi to the officials present.
Local residents welcomed the initiative, expressing hope that the new facility would boost early childhood education and improve nutrition services for children in the area.
