PANAJI: TCP Dept has ‘corrected’ 5100 sq mtr land at Priol from Settlement zone to Industrial zone in RGP 2021.
In the RPG-2021, the zone of part of the plot of land admeasuring an area of 5100 m2, surveyed under Survey No. 158, sub-division No. 1-C, of Village Priol, Ponda Taluka, District South Goa, State of Goa which is earmarked as Settlement Zone as per RPG-2021 is hereby corrected as Industrial Zone, states a notification issued in this regards.
The TCP can now grant the additional height and FAR to the proposals on case-to-case basis without the earlier restriction of “20% permitted in the prevailing Regulations.”
The TCP Department has issued an amendment to the recently-notified Goa Land Development and Building Construction Regulations, noting,
“The government on recommendation of the TCP Board shall grant additional height and FAR to the proposals on case-to-case basis in consideration of the locational aspect, nature of development, use proposed information available and on any such other criteria, if required.”
TCP department dropped the 20% restriction on additional height and FAR to be granted on a case-to-case basis.
The TCP department issued a notification that dropped the crucial line from the Goa Land Development and Building Construction (Amendment) Regulations, 2023, which were just published on August 9.
