PANAJI: The Town and Country Planning (TCP) in a notifification issued stating that any changes to the land use and development of land in the Calangute-Candolim, and Arpora-Nagao-Parra in the specified survey numbers have to conform to the Regional Plan 2021 and for Vasco ODP it has to be in conformity with the Vasco-da-Gama ODP 2030.
As per the notification, the decision will remain in force till the new ODPs are formulated.
The government has inviteed all persons who entertain any objections to the said proposals to submit the same in writing with reasons therefor to the Chief Town Planner (Planning), Town and Country Planning Department, Dempo Tower, 2nd Floor, Patto Plaza, Panaji, Goa, within a period of sixty days from the date of publication of this Notification in the Official Gazette so that they may be taken into consideration for taking final decision on the said proposals.
“Now, therefore, the Government of Goa hereby invites all persons who entertain any objections to the said proposals to submit the same in writing with reasons therefor to the Chief Town Planner (Planning), Town and Country Planning Department, Dempo Tower, 2nd Floor, Patto Plaza, Panaji, Goa, within a period of sixty days from the date of publication of this Notification in the Official Gazette so that they may be taken into consideration for taking final decision on the said proposals,” states the notification
The ODPs of Calangute-Candolim, Arpora-Nagao-Parra and Vasco were suspended after discrepancies were found. The notification has been issued as per the report submitted by the committee constituted to look into the discrepancies.
“The findings of the said Committee have unveiled various illegalities which have been committed in preparation of the ODPs as specified in column of the Schedule below in respect of the land/area as specified against the corresponding entries of the Schedule below which are situated within the limits of the respective planning areas as specified,” the notification states
