CANACONA: Stating no one will fall prey to the revengeful ploy of BJP’s Canacona MLA, holding the constitutional post of Goa Legislative Assembly Speaker, local leaders of Canacona said all the anti-BJP votes will be cast to I.N D. I. Alliance candidate Capt Viriato Fernandes at the Lok Sabha elections.
Local leaders made a clear case of coming together of all the non-BJP voters to show Canacona BJP MLA’s pressure tactics to corner opposition parties will not succeed but will ganer over 70% of votes for Congress lok sabha candidate at the INDIA public meeting held on Wednesday.
AAP Leader Sandesh Telekar in a scathing attack on BJP said, BJP’s corruption has penetrated from top to bottom and is so rampant that the Chief Minister has put his Wife on the collection panel..’ BJP has destroyed democracy and doing only lip-service of protecting democracy, Corruption has spread everywhere in the nation including Goa. Let this government show a single house, which this government has built for the needy under Prime minister Awas Yojna, which the PM himself announced construction of over 4 crores of houses in the country. ‘
GGP Environment Cell Convenor Vikas Bhagat questioned BJP karyakartas and local leaders for whom they are standing with for BJP, and what is their stand for the rampant illegalities and corruptions taking place in the saffron party cadres. Can you deny that BJP have appointed Collection Agents in each area to collect funds for Shram-Dham scheme, which Canacona MLA is claiming is a successful one? When Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna is already there providing government funds to build houses for needy people, why is a show-off being created of building houses to the needy under the so called Shram-dham scheme, which is run by extorting money from people?

Gaondongrom Ex-Sarpanch and panch Ashok Velip and Panch Anand Velip criticised how BJP and Tawadkar using the masses for his own betterment, and requested people not to vote for BJP, but work and vote for INDIA candidate Capt Viriat Fernandes.-
