VIRNODA: A tempo and tanker were involved in a fatal hit-and-run accident at Virnoda on the wee hours of Monday that claimed the life of a 38-year-old man.
38-year-old Niyaz Zari has been identified as the dead while two others have been injured.
As per the information, the truck driver struck Niyaz’s chicken-carrying tempo from behind.
He lost control of the car as a result, and it turned into a turtle. After being taken to the hospital, Niyaz was pronounced dead. The lorry driver is being sought after by the police.
