Aam Aadmi Party has criticised that the alliance of Congress and BJP, which is Congress Janata Party has no intentions to work for the betterment of Goans.
“At a time when the number of Covid cases in Goa are on the rise, BJP’s health minister and Chief minister are continuing to be arrogant. Health Minister Rane mentioned that the “storm is over” when there is a clear spike in the number of covid cases.
CM Pramod Sawant said that we don’t need to learn from anyone. CM Sawant has said that he will open schools in a phased manner from 20th September, With the Covid graph increasing only a clueless CM can take decisions like this.
I want to ask then why it took so long for Health Minister and Chief Minister to decide a feasible Home Isolation policy? Why it took so long to provide oximeters to home isolation patients? Why does the health bulletin data not show the bed occupancy in the hospitals? Why are people are sleeping on floors of GMC hospital, shamelessly accepted by the Health Minister?”, said Surel Tilve, AAP Spokesperson.
Attacking Congress, AAP Spokesperson Surel Tilve said “Every time we expose the BJP Govt’s inability to work for the Goans, Congress starts targeting us as an ally to BJP.
Congress has started a campaign that AAP is spending 50 Crores in Goa. It’s a joke. A party which has made Goa a den of corruption through the decades is accusing honest parties now.
By doing this, they are also accusing the media of being corrupt. First they attack Goans, now they attack media. Media in Goa has been the only ones highlighting the corruption in health department during Corona and the gross mismanagement in the state.
They are probably getting confused with the amount they got paid by the BJP to buy their MLAs. We have been continuously pressurising Govt to provide better Health facilities to Goans to help face this Covid Pandemic, while you were busy selling yourself to BJP.
The truth is both BJP and Congress does not want to work for the interest of Goa and they have problem if someone else does it. ‘Goans against Corona’ campaign is the initiative driven by Goans and they realise that the people are discontent with the way the Govt is managing Corona and especially the way Congress has also been silent on this entire matter.”
Goans against Corona an initiative which was launched by AAP on 9th of September in collaboration with the people of Goa has been opposed by both BJP and Congress.
