PONDA: The Pole erected at Ponda Bus Stand for installing CCTV is on the verge of collapse.
The passengers had demanded to remove the pole, which may pose a risk if it fell on passengers or a moving vehicle.
The CCTV installed in Ponda has been non-functional for the past many years and has just remained a showpiece at Ponda Bus Stand.
This pole is located at the busy old Ponda Bus Stand junction near the newspaper stand.
The passengers and locals were urged to clear the pole for the safety of passengers.
