PANAJI: The State government has increased the retirement age of the Anganwadi Workers and Helpers from 60 years to 62 years.
“ Ex-Post Facto Approval of the Government is hereby conveyed to enhance the retirement age of Anganwadi Workers / Helpers from 60 to 62 years w.e.f. 01/05/2024” states an order issued in this regard by Director and Ex-Officio Joint Secretary, Women & Child Development.
The order further states that Anganwadi Workers/Helpers those who would have retired on 30/04/2024, are subject to the clearance of medical fitness beyond the age of 60 years,”
